We have completed a project involving the manufacture, delivery and commissioning of a modular mould for the production of precast concrete transformer station housings. The project required extensive experience and careful planning – the accuracy of element fit and the quality of concrete surface finish played a key role. The moulds were delivered, assembled and commissioned at the client’s facility.
Scope of delivery
The project covered a complete set of moulds for the production of all components of the transformer station housing:
- XT-C | Modular housing mould with a tapered core, enabling production of elements in two width configurations.
- XT-F | Foundation (basement) mould – compatible with the housing mould, with adjustment adapted to the range of element lengths.
- SD | Concrete roof mould – dimensionally matched to the remaining elements of the set, ensuring precise fit of the finished precast components.
Element parameters
- Height: 2970 mm
- Width: 2960 mm or 2550 mm (module configurations)
- Length: from 3000 to 8600 mm, in 200 mm increments
Results
The delivered and commissioned set of moulds enables repeatable production of all prefabricated components of the transformer station housing – from the foundation, through the housing walls, to the roof – within a single production line. The precision of mutual element fit, achieved through careful project coordination and experience in this type of application, directly translates into the quality and durability of the finished structure.
