Mould for multi-sided elements 3D with conical core

A mould for the production of concrete transformer station enclosures is an efficient and modular solution for manufacturing precast elements which, due to their specification, do not need to have straight internal walls. Thanks to the use of minimal technological draft angles on the core, the element can be safely demoulded without any operations inside the mould. The mould’s simple mechanical design provides a very wide adjustment range, allowing it to be adapted to all required enclosure dimensions that the customer plans to produce. Adjustment is achieved using sliding and width-adjustable side walls as well as modular internal cores.

TECHNOLOGY FOR THE PRODUCTION OF CONCRETE TRANSFORMER STATION HOUSINGS

The production of precast concrete transformer station housings is one of the most demanding segments of the precast concrete industry. The finished element must meet rigorous requirements for tightness, durability and geometric accuracy – resulting directly from safety standards and the requirements set by the largest energy network operators. The precision of fit between individual housing components – walls, foundation and roof – determines the overall tightness of the structure and its resistance to external conditions throughout its entire service life. An accurate, precise and durable mould is an indispensable part of the production process for top-quality housings – it is the mould that determines the repeatability of geometry, the quality of the concrete surface and the compliance of the finished precast element with applicable standards and technical requirements.
